Fight Against COVID-19: Ontario Is Currently Accepting Applications For Internationally Trained Doctors For Coronavirus Pandemic

Canada has 23,318 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, which has killed 653 people in the entire country, and in order to help more patients that are fighting the virus, Ontario is accepting applications of doctors from different countries.
International medical graduates who have already passed their exam to practice medicine in Canada or who graduated from a medical school within the last 2 years are allowed to apply for a temporary license.
The license will allow them to work in Ontario.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario will allow candidates that do not have a Canadian medical residency position to apply for the Supervised Short-Duration Certificates.
The Supervised Short-Duration Certificates is going to allow international medical graduates to practice in Ontario for 30 days.
There is a possibility that you may continue working for longer you get your temporary license approved for renewal.
International medical graduates in Canada are eligible to work in Ontario along with doctors if they:
1.       Have completed a medical degree from a medical school that is accredited
2.       Have practiced medicine full-time within the previous 2 years
3.       Have confirmation of employment from one of the approved categories of facilities that are listed in the Medicine Act
4.       And are an identified supervisor
