Canada Invites 761 PNP Candidates in Latest Express Entry Draw
On September 29, 2021, Canada sent out around 761 invitations to Express Entry candidates so they could apply for permanent residence status. All the candidates that were invited had previously received nominations under a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). The nomination automatically means that 600 points are going to be added to their Express Entry score. This means that candidates needed a score of at least 742 in order to be invited. Before this PNP draw, the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) invited 521 PNP candidates with scores of at least 732. The new draw is larger but also has a higher cutoff score, meaning that there are more high-scoring candidates in the pool under the Provincial Nominee Class.
