British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program Draw Invites 87 Immigration Candidates

On June 9, 2020, the latest Tech Pilot draw of British Columbia sent out 87 invitations to candidates that had minimum scores of 82.
British Columbia has held a new PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) draw, which invited 87 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination on June 9, 2020.
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee The program, which is also known as the BC PNP, invited immigration candidates to apply from the Express Entry British Columbia and Skills Immigration categories.

The minimum provincial score requirement for each category was only 82.
To get an invitation through the Express Entry British Columbia category, candidates are required to have profiles in the federal Express Entry system.
Express Entry is the federal government’s application management system.
Express Entry candidates are allotted points that are based on human capital factors such as age, education, work experience, and language proficiencies in the languages:
1.     English
2.     French
Candidates that receive a provincial nomination is automatically awarded an additional 600 CRS Points, which are then forwarded to a subsequent federal Express Entry Draw.
After that, they will be receiving an ITA (Invitation to Apply) for Canadian permanent residence.
British Columbia recently announced that they are going to extend their Tech Pilot draw until June 2021. It was supposed to expire this year.
