Saskatchewan Sends Out 502 Invites To Immigration Candidates In Latest PNP Draw
Saskatchewan is now holding the largest
draw since the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the latest numbers, 502
immigration candidates are just a number of steps away from obtaining their PR
status.
This comes after Saskatchewan held an
invitation round on July 29, 2020.
The SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee
Program) invited candidates from the International Skilled Worker category.
They did this through the:
1. Express Entry
2. Occupations In-Demand
In order to be invited in this draw,
candidates from both sub-categories needed to have submitted EOI (Expression of
Interest) profiles with the SINP.
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program
uses the Expression of Interest system to select candidates that have the most
potential to thrive in the prairie province.
Candidates are required to demonstrate
their commitment to building a life in Saskatchewan by showcasing their work
experience, education, language ability, age, and connections to the province.
The program uses these 5 factors to assess candidates and give them a score out
of 100 on the ISWPAG (International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid).
The highest candidates are then issued an
invitation to apply for a provincial nomination from the province.
