British Columbia Invites 437 Immigration Candidates In New PNP Draw
British Columbia has issued 437 invitations
to apply for a provincial nomination for Permanent Residence to candidates of
the Skills Immigration
and Express Entry on August 7, 2020.
According to data that was shared with the
public, a total of 437
invitations were issued in the Skilled Worker, International Graduate, and
Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker categories of the British Columbia
Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).
The minimum scores for this draw varied depending on
the subcategory. The invitations were sent to applicants with 76 to 98 points.

Graduate
Express Entry BC categories are open to
immigration candidates that have a profile in the Express Entry System of the
country.
Express Entry candidates that apply for and
receive a provincial nomination for permanent residence get an additional 600
points toward their CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score and are
effectively guaranteed to receive an Invitation to Apply for Canadian permanent
residence in a federal Express Entry draw.

Candidates in the Skilled Worker, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled,
and International Graduate categories are required to
make a registry with the BC PNP SIRS (Skills Immigration Registration System)
after they complete a profile with the online system of BC PNP.
