Express Entry: Canada Sends 4,200 Invitations To Immigration Candidates

On September 30, 2020, Canada held a new Express Entry draw, where 4,200 invitations were sent to immigration candidates.

The Federal Skilled Worker Program candidates were amongst the successful candidates for the third consecutive draw.

The minimum CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score in this latest invitation round was just 471, which is 1 point less compared to the last draw, which happened on September 16, 2020.

The large number of Invitations to Apply (ITA) that got issued today is a strong indication that Canada is committed to meet its goals in bringing more people to Canada in 2021 and the upcoming years.

What Is Express Entry?

The Express Entry system of Canada manages the profiles of candidates for 3 of Canada’s main economic-class immigration programs.

These programs include:

1.       Federal Skilled Worker Class

2.       Federal Skilled Trades Class
