Nova Scotia PNP Sends Out Invitations To Automotive Industry Workers

 

Automotive industry workers will be getting invitations from Nova Scotia’s PNP.

Workers with profiles in the Express Entry system were invited to apply for a provincial nomination from Nova Scotia.

Nova Scotia invited immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination on September 24, 2020.

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program released the draw’s eligibility criteria for Express Entry candidates.

However, the province did not say how many invitations were sent on September 24, 2020.



Candidates needed to have a primary occupation in one of the following 2 National Occupational Classification codes:

Motor vehicle body repairs (NOC 7322) or automotive service technicians, truck and bus mechanics and mechanical repairers (NOC 7321).

Candidates that were invited will be demonstrating that they have 2 or more years or full-time or part-time experience in these occupations within the 5 years preceding the application.

The candidates are also required to have a Canadian Language Benchmark of at least 5 in all English language abilities.

In their files, it is required to have copies of language tests and proof of education.

Proof of education must include an Educational Credential Assessment report issued by an organization designated by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. This only applies if your education was obtained outside the country of Canada.

In addition, candidates are also required to have completed a program of 2 or more years at a post-secondary institution.
