Canada Will Be Delaying 2020 Parents And Grandparents Immigration Program Due To Coronavirus Pandemic
The government of Canada has announced that they will be delaying the opening of their 2020 Parents and Grandparents Visa Program due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Due to the high numbers of the coronavirus patients in the country, the government of Canada has announced that they will be placing a temporary halt for the program. According to IRCC (Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada), the launch of the call for expressions of interest to apply for the program was anticipated in the coming weeks. The temporary deferral of the call for applications is not expected to impact when parents and grandparents will arrive in the country.
